Gene Warhurst

Gene Warhurst is an Alabama attorney who began his career in the insurance industry in 1988 as a property and auto claims adjuster for Hartford Insurance. He learned the art of claim processing in the insurance sector by investigating, evaluating, and negotiating thousands of claims. Gene's extensive knowledge and attainment of eight postgraduate national insurance designations, including the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, or CPCU, enabled him to advance to Senior Property, Car Accident, and Personal Injury Claims Manager, where he oversaw claims adjusters handling hurricane, fire, business, and injury claims. In law school Gene continued to work full-time as an Insurance Claims Manager while attending classes at night. Upon graduation from law school in 1995 Gene entered private practice as an attorney representing injured people against large corporations such as Ford Motor Company and General Motors Corporation.
